what is happening so far is When the teacher, Moshe The Beadle, was deported he then returns back and tells a horrifying tale of how the German Secret Police Force took over his train but nobody believes him they all think hes a lunatic and crazy. Eliezer and his father are separated from his mother who they both never see again but before all of that they are brought to prison where they see Nazi's burning babies. They eventually arrive to a camp where Eliezer is put to work in a electrical fittings factory All of that happened in chapters 3-5 . The prisoners were forced to watch the hanging of other prisoners in the camp courtyard. The reason this book matters is that if we were to ever go through something like this again we would most likely be prepared not only that but we get to try and understand and feel what they went through which is also something valuable about the book. I think the reason why some people still read it today is not only because the author has a good connection to the book but because he lived it too.
My book is called Night and it is about the Nazi death camp horror that turns out to be a young Jewish boy witnessing the death of his family. This book was originally written by someone who was taken from his home and sent to a concentration camp which was told by different points of view i haven't gone far in the book only up to chapter 2 but so far this boy the main character wasn't really concerned about his family only his friends ( the main characters name hasn't been revealed yet ). This is related to the society because a lot of people, kids in general get killed practically everyday and the average number for a kid dying is approximately 1 million a year. During WWII and the holocaust about 1.5 million kids died now some people make bombs but don't ever purposely use them like they did during those times back then. Just like now there's a lot of certain things being blamed for death. Back then they didn't treat the soldier's like they would've wanted to be treated as a fun fact the soldier's only got 3 pieces of paper per day well at least that was for the British but the Americans got at least 22 pieces of paper which most people of course thought was unfair.
Historically what is happening in my book is 1 girl and 1 boy both have been captured and both to have been sent to be killed and are trying to find a way to escape. The events in the book are event that happened during the holocaust but the only difference is they used different people in it and some events aren't in order. They see is in 1st point of view as in there both telling there own story and whats happening through out the way. The characters in my book get there saying in it as in they all something to do apart with it either with the Nazi's or inside the Treblinka Camp. Mostly all of the conflicts and the events that happened during the time of the holocaust are either mentioned or said during the book. I haven't read much of the book yet but i did get past chapter 1 and so far there only telling story's of there life and introducing themselves.
